The International College of Craniomandibular Orthopaedics (ICCMO) was founded in 1979 by Dr. Bernard Jankelson, the Father of the Neuromuscular Dental Occlusion Concept together with an international group of clinicians and dental educators. It is a non-commercial and not for profit professional organization that serves as a global voice of scientific advancement, research and education in the area of occlusion, neuromuscular dentistry, and TMJ/TMD/OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnoea)/CCMD (Cranio-Cervical Mandibular Disorder) diagnosis and treatment.

Is committed to help dentists treat occlusion and TMJ/TMD pain patients using science based technology and techniques utilizing state of the art biomedical instrumentation.
It serves as an open forum for the free exchange of ideas, practices and research in the field of neuromuscular dentistry in an atmosphere of camaraderie and professionalism.
ICCMO continues to grow and thrive with active sections in the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Russia and South America with biennial Congresses held in each of the Sections. The ICCMO India section became the 8th section of ICCMO on 30th March 2017 at Buenos Aires during its 19th International Congress. For over thirty-five years, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) has been the global voice of scientific advancement and education in occlusion, neuromuscular dentistry, and TMJ/TMD diagnosis and treatment. ICCMO India section aims to bring all those interested dentists under a single umbrella from NMDI and provide the best education in the department of Neuromuscular Dentistry with India-specific courses.
