Neuromuscular dentistry (NMD) focuses on harmonizing the muscles of mastication, the temporomandibular joint, the airway, and the teeth to prevent compensation or compromise within the stomatognathic system. This approach enables precision dentistry by mastering bio-metrics (measurement), ensuring the general well-being of patients.

Our Protocol

Airodontics: The Right Bite Protocol*, developed by Dr. Raj, in collaboration with ICCMO (International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics), teaches NMD protocols. Dr. Raj’s team includes Dr. Girish P.V., Dr. Abhimanyu Chaturvedi, and Dr. Ankit Saha. The Right Bite Institute of Airodontics conducts fellowship courses, endorsed by ICCMO, to advance the practice of NMD in India, with ICCMO’s chapter opening officially on 31st March 2017.

Our Process

Airodontics R* divides NMD into Addition NMD, Reduction NMD, Sleep Dentistry, Myofunctional Therapy, and Cervical Physiology, based on Dr. Bernard Jankelson’s concepts. The structured courses start with basics and lead to a fellowship with case presentations within two years (Cluster 1), followed by Phase 2 NMD and Advanced NMD through ICCMO’s Mastership programs (Clusters 2 & 3). Dr. Rajesh Raveendranathan BDS MICCMO PhD and his team ensure comprehensive training for treating TMD and OSA.
